Bax got invited to go to Lake Michigan with his best friends' family a few weeks ago. They live in Indiana, so we dropped him off in Indy one weekend, and he rode up to the Lake with them. Instead of picking him up at the end of their trip in Indy again, we decided to pick him up in Michigan, and have a little mini vacation ourselves! It was a quick, but fun trip! We picked Bax up at the end of the weekend, so he isn't in any of our pictures...
Happiness is Lake Michigan! :)

Alaina was most looking forward to buying candy at the camp store, because she remembered from last year that there was a big variety, it was cheap, and there was no tax. I told that to the lady who runs the campground and she chuckled and said with a wink, "After all the work I do around here, that's what people like best.... "
My highlight, besides the beach, was seeing our old pastor and his family who moved to Grand Rapids three years ago. They have graduated five kids and homeschool the two kids still in school. Besides the fact that we love them dearly, we always have so much to talk about!
