Wahoo!

Last night, at our community group, we played a super fun game called,

Wahoo!

It's a dice game,

And a card game.  And there's prizes at the end!

You set up tables of four people,

and each person in each group needs to have

twelve cards in front of them: Ace through Queen,

in order, facing up.

And each table needs a pair of dice.

Also, each person playing brings a gift in a paper bag, 

which they carry around with them.

When everyone is ready, someone shouts "Go!"

One person at each table rolls the dice, and gets to turn

over the corresponding card(s).  For instance, if you

roll a "2" and a "4", you can either turn over your 

2 and 4 cards OR your 6 card.  If you roll double "6's",

you get to turn over your Queen.

Then the dice get passed to the next player at your table,

and you continue around your table as fast as you can go.

The first person in the room that gets all their 

cards turned over yells, 

"Wahoo!!!"

And all play stops.

The Wahoo winner then gets to pick a table, 

look in each person's bag, and trade presents/bags with 

the person of their choice.

Next, the winner from each table gets to look in 

each person's bag at their table and trade to get their 

favorite present.  

The second place winner then gets to choose a gift/bag 

from the 3rd place and 4th place people at their table.

After swapping gifts, the 1st and 2nd place people from 

each table rotate around the room to the adjacent table, 

and play resumes for Round Two.

At the end of the night, you get to keep the present in your bag!
