Our fifth child,
was born on
January 29th!!!
And that makes us the Cecil Seven!
Yehaw!
One of the super cool things about having your fifth baby six years after having your fourth baby is this: you're a seasoned parent, so you're not stressed out or clueless about caring for your new baby, but at the same time, it has been so long since you had a newborn baby that everything is magical again! Ken and I both cried for joy when Jackson was born, and these first ten days with Jackson have definitely been magical!
Here are two pictures of Jackson when he was only minutes old.
Looking at his teeny tiny little features,
his miniature fingers and teeny-weeny little fingernails,
and his little bitty eye lashes -
has had us all mesmerized!

Yay for pictures! Hannah wants to see her cousin Jackson before he is a toddler. I want to see him while he still smells like a yummy baby! We are working on it! Praying for sleep and naps and patience and transition. Love you!
