The Old Jalopy Bites the Dust

Ken's truck, his trusty sidekick for the last 15 years, finally bit the dust.  It was a '91 Toyota, with nearly 300,000 miles on it, so it was a long lasting relationship.  He put a new engine in it years ago, and has been babying it for quite a while to keep the old thing getting him from point A to point B...  It has been using/leaking a quart of oil per week for years now, and has left it's mark all over the seminary parking lot, the street in front of our new house, and the school parking lot.

When we told the kids it was gone, they said, "Can't we go on ONE more drive?  It's part of our childhood!!!" So we drove down to the parking lot where it died, the kids jumped in the back, and I took this picture.  It will be missed!
