Baking for a Cause

Alaina got another bee in her bonnet.  She wanted to contribute towards a mission trip that two of her friends were taking this month to Gonaives, Haiti.  Mrs. Gamble and Jordan work with Hope Community Project, and had a list of items that people could donate for the trip.  The items included medical supplies, and practical things, but also toys for the kids they work with in Haiti.  

Alaina enthusiastically bounded up to me with her idea of a Bake Sale to raise money to buy toys for the kids in Haiti.  She pressed, reminded, and sweetly pressured me to help her make it happen.  And it did.  Way to go, Alaina.  Your heart is outgrowing your nine year old body!
