Ken recently was able to get away from the pressures and stresses of life to spend time with the Lord. He drove out of the busyness of the city into the peace and serenity of the countryside to a Hermitage for three peaceful days. The facility is specifically for those who want to spend time alone with the Lord. They provide small hermitages built into the hillside with a bed, desk, and window; as well as grounds that flow from the hermitages down to the river.
Ken was able to rest, refresh, have non-interrupted time with the Lord, and also spend some very beneficial time on his thesis.
I am so happy that he was able to carve out this time, because he is now headed full steam ahead into the new school year as the new principal. There are so many things to get done, and without relying on God's help, power, and blessing, a person could get seriously stressed out. Please join me in praying for Ken that he could continually cast his cares on the One who is able to provide everything he needs.

This place sounds amazing. Something that we would benefit greatly from. What a blessing to have a beautiful wife who encourages him to go and refresh himself in the Lord.
