Alaina wrote down some breakfast ideas
for me while we brainstormed together.
I try to have breakfast on the table at 7 for the big kids.
And after they leave for school, the little kids
come have their breakfast.
Since I don't homeschool the big kids anymore,
sending them off to school with full tummies
is one of the tangible ways I can say, "I love you".
Last year, making the family a hot breakfast
before school lasted two weeks
and then my good intentions
reverted to cold cereal for the rest of the school year.
This year I've turned my good intentions
into two months, and I'm still at it.
A small personal victory.
Yay!
